beautiful day in Central Oregon

We took Colton to another pumpkin patch last weekend, it was a perfect day in Central Oregon. Colton had a blast with the petting zoo, horse rides, pumpkin launcher where you launched a pumpkin into a field of old cars (well, Dad and Uncle Thomas had a good time with that) I love fall and all the beautiful colors.

pumpkin patch

Hard to believe that its already fall... today Colton and I went to a pumpkin patch out in Tumalo, we had a great time. They had all kinds of fun activities for the kids to do such as pony rides, hay rides, a hunted house and so much more. Colton loved the hay ride the best because we were being pulled buy a tractor!

snow in october?

Last weekend we had a crazy freak snow storm, we woke up to a blizzard and by the end of the day we had a good 4 inches of snow and it was only the beginning of October! Colton was so excited to see the snow, the first thing he said when he saw it was "i am going to get my snow boots on". Him and daddy and pappa built a snowman, unfortunately, frosty didn't last long because it started to warm up. The storm knocked trees down all over town, it was such a mess. Both my parents had a big tree fall in their yard, and so did Carson's parents. We were lucky enough to not have any damage other than a bush in our front yard. This weather sure reminded me that i am NOT ready for it to be winter!
