Over the weekend I took Colton to a charity event at a local construction company. They had all the tractors, dump trucks, steam rollers, and so much more out for the kids to play in, Colton had so much fun, he did not want to leave! here are a few pictures of my lil construction worker!

She's Country

On Sept. 10th, Carson and I went to the Jason Aldean concert down in the Old Mill. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert. Jason Aldean put on a great show, and didn't look to bad either! ;)

craft time

Craft time! Colton loves to do crafts at work so i figured i would buy some stuff for him to do since i will not be working anymore. Here are some pictures of him and our good friend Melia and their creation that they made. Also we had our friends Scarlett and Michaela over to help us decorate sugar cookies, the kids had a great time!

WOW! its already Labor Day weekend, where did summer go?
Just a quick update here...Not much new going on in the Widmer household. Colton has fully recovered from his surgery and we have started to get our first of the many medical bills from that, boy how they charge for every little thing at the hospital! The surgery did not effect his potty training like I had feared it might, so that is good. He is still doing great with that, and I am so prod of my big boy to be potty trained at 2! Even the urologist said how early that is, especially for boys!
Carson's work just got a big job out in Sisters, which means they will have work threw the winter and hopefully the people like what they do and will just roll them over into the 33,000sf home, yes that is huge!!! but right now they are building the 8,000sf guest house. He decided to put school on hold for now, maybe he will go back next year.
I am still at the daycare a few days a week and baby sitting here and there, but its all working out good for us. We sold Carson's truck and paid cash for a new smaller one for him, its great not having a truck payment for once!
We hope you are all doing great, enjoy whats left of your summer!!!

Happy 50th MOM!

Over the weekend we celebrated my moms 50th birthday by giving her a huge surprise birthday party. She sure was shocked to walk into our house and see 30 of her friends and family standing there to greet her, the party went perfect, we had great food, drinks, company, and weather!
Thank you all who helped me make this day very special for my mom, she surely deserved it after the year she has had!
